I was surprised how much I enjoyed The Outlaws on Amazon Prime. It is classified as a crime comedy. drama. There were only six episodes and I was disappointed, wishing there were more, There better be a second season. The series was written by Stephen Merchant who also wrote the Office. So if you liked The office give it a try.
Despite the story not being that original the acting and writing overtook any reservations of mine. The series is about seven strangers who have been sentenced to community service. They all must work together cleaning up a derelict building. The characters are all recognizable stereotypes who outside of their predicament would never have had anything to do with one another. After an event takes place at the building the characters end up banding together forming a unique alliance, finding the good in each other.
